Why does it matter for your business?

Restructuring can be the right means to renew your company. A restructuring project is demanding for all employees, impacted directly or indirectly. Leaders are impacted in various ways themselves – going through difficult conversations, guiding employees through uncertainty while continuing to drive results.

It is a special challenge for HR teams, who carry the execution burden and to some extent the emotional burden, on top of being required to continue running the hr business. There is a risk to look at restructuring as pure cost saving, missing the opportunity to connect all employees to the future strategy.

My services for impactful restructuring

1. Craft the right approach

Craft the overall restructuring plan considering financial targets, timing targets, people needs, legal requirements and execution capabilities. Model alternative approaches as a strong foundation for good leadership decision. This will need to happen in close cooperation with Finance and the company´s strategy lead.

2. Execute with empathy and speed

Build the people execution plan and guide execution – shaping the execution team in hr, designing employee packages, designing leadership enablement plans, designing communication plans, crafting approach for social partner engagement and communication, identifying external partners as required (e.g. legal council, outplacement…).
